Before joining the tech world, I lead creative teams in agencies in Edinburgh and London. Working across the financial, energy, arts, non-profit, entertainment and tourism sectors.

As Creative Director for Scotland’s oldest Design Agency, I was accountable for all the agency's creative output. My team and I partnered with marketing teams, brand specialists, digital strategists, UX consultants and technical teams to design, develop and deliver innovative, creative solutions.

My work spanned financial, energy, arts, non-profit, entertainment and tourism sectors.

XCP Professional

XCP manufactures market-leading rust protection, lubrication, maintenance and cleaning sprays. We concepted this ad in partnership with Wheeler Dealers star, Ed China.

Dynamic Earth

Dynamic Eartch asked us to develop a campaign that creates a strong association with Dynamic Earth and the term ‘Edinburgh’s Best Family Attraction’. We took visitors on a ground shaking, earth shattering, finger numbing, breathtaking, mind bending, awe inspiring, jaw dropping, mouth watering, eye opening, deep diving, easy parking, family friendly journey.

Linn Hi-fi systems

Linn approached us to create a film to promote their LINN LOUNGE series. We created a template system in After Effects that enabled the client to switch out images, copy and colours for each event. Meaning they didn’t need to come back to us for every iteration.

ScottishPower Race for Life - POWER SQUADS

To let the nation know ScottishPower was helping beat cancer sooner through Race for Life, we were tasked with engaging staff, customers, the public and event participants to form relationships online and at events. Our campaign empowered friends, families and colleagues to build POWER SQUADS to help beat cancer sooner.

ScottishPower Race for Life - High 5 wave

ScottishPower High 5 Wave and was grounded in the idea that participants could complete a High 5 and contribute to a wave of support for Cancer Research UK. The High 5 Facebook timeline was positioned as the communications hub and traffic driver. A stand-alone website was built to allow users to upload their High 5 photos and videos and to track all virtual High 5s using a real-time totaliser. The project used complex digital techniques to streamline and measure all activity.

Going back 15 years here, but the experience all adds up!

Altogether Digital was created from the merger of DC Interact, Meme London (Digital Advertising) and Eyefall (SEO). Laterally known as WCRS and now House337.

As a member of the senior management team and Design Director, I was responsible for the integration and design output of the merged design teams. This involved hands-on design and creative direction, information architecture, usability, business development, and client consulting.
